- Tunnels, ensuring they remain watertight
- Rail, having developed a number of sealing, noise suppression and anti-vibration components
Description
VIP is seeking to appoint a proactive and experienced SHEQ Manager. You will be an integral part of the management team working in partnership with them to lead, coordinate and support our quality, health, safety and environmental activity promoting a healthy workplace for employees and others whilst driving continuous and sustainable improvements in quality, safety and environmental performance. General quality management skills are more desirable than specialist polymer knowledge, as training is available to bring you up to speed.
Key current standards are – ISO9001/ISO14001 and we have a vision to obtain ISO45001 in the near future.
Profile
This is a challenging role but offers a unique opportunity to add real value to the Company and would ideally suit a candidate with strong influencing skills and the ability to change the minds of individuals. Good communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proactive and flexible approach to achieving results is essential.
A demonstrable track record within a SHEQ role is vital along with the following desirable qualifications/experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience of ISO45001
- Internal audit experience of ISO9001 and ISO14001 would be an advantage
Salary will be commensurate subject to the qualifications/experience of the successful candidate.
