GRP Pipe Seals

VIP-Polymers offer a range of seals for GRP pipes suitable for a wide range of applications.

VIP-Polymers GRP pipe seals can be supplied in a number of stock elastomeric compounds designed to comply with the latest EU and worldwide regulations. Where a suitable compound is not readily available to facilitate bespoke compound development:

  • Water transmission and distribution (potable and raw water)
  • Sanitary sewerage collection and outfalls
  • Storm sewers and drainage
  • Seawater intake, outfalls and cooling water lines
  • Industrial effluents

The renowned Reka® Gasket System is composed of two gaskets and one stopper and is available in sizes DN 150 – DN2300+ The Reka® gasket offers the following benefits:

  • Tight, efficient joints designed to eliminate infiltration and exfiltration.
  • Ease of joining, reducing installation time.
  • Accommodates small changes in line direction without fittings, or differential settlement.

To compliment our Reka® gasket range, we also offer centre register in a variety of sizes which prevent damage to the spigots during the jointing process.

We have also developed a range of EPDM seals suitable for use in GRP Jacking Pipe applications as well as others to suit virtually all industry-wide pipe jointing methods.
