The Shift Management Team are a crucial part of the business, ensuring the smooth running of the production area, co-ordinating all aspects of manufacturing from compound mixing to packaging and despatch, to meet the business needs with regard to quality, cost, delivery and production deadlines, ensuring these objectives are achieved in a safe manner.

The aim of this role is to maximise the output of the shift and to work with the Management Team and colleagues on other shifts to set the plant up for excellent production in the future, involving significant co-ordination between all departments, including laboratory, quality, tooling, development and maintenance.

Profile

This is a challenging role, offering a unique opportunity to add real value to the Company and would ideally suit a candidate with previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment coupled with previous supervisory involvement and strong influencing skills.

You will be responsible for motivating your shift, problem solving on a day to day basis, with the main focus on developing and up-skilling the team to achieve the production plan.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Huntingdon site for a Multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to be part of our Maintenance Team. If you are looking to progress your career, we have the position for you.

The Shift Maintenance Team is a crucial part of the business, ensuring the factory equipment continues to run efficiently and keeping production downtime to a minimum.

The Shift Maintenance Engineer will undertake fault finding and repair of injection moulding, compression moulding, extrusion and mixing presses as well as assisting with the Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Profile

The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and/or fabrication.

Salary: £9.05 per hour rotating days, £9.80 per hour Night Shift

Hours: 40/48 hours per week, Mon – Fri/Mon-Thurs/Tues-Fri

We are currently seeking Machine Operators to be part of the manufacturing team at our Huntingdon site.

The Machine Operator will:-

  • Operate the designated press to the agreed standards and production rates;
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, including wearing of PPE;
  • Inspect product to ensure compliance with the Company’s quality standards;
  • Trim product to required finished standard;
  • Pack product to required standard;
  • Correctly record numbers of product made;
  • Maintain good housekeeping.

Profile

The successful candidates will ideally have worked within a manufacturing/factory environment, possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and good numerical ability. A flexible approach and the ability to work under own initiative are essential.
