Quality Assurance is central to VIP achieving the consistent manufacture of products from the mixing of rubber in our compounding department to the development and delivery of new products and materials to the market.

VIP operates an ISO9001 Quality Management System that is accredited by BSI; this system drives the measuring, monitoring and continuous improvement of all key processes within the organisation.

VIP holds several Kitemarks from BSI for products (EN295-4 and WIS4-41-01) and materials (EN681-1); the QMS is structured to ensure compliance with the relevant standards and any applicable National or International legislation.

The Quality Department has a wealth of experience and innovation to draw upon, utilising skills and methods learnt through personnel development training. The team aims for optimum performance on day-to-day monitoring, product assurance and type-testing.

IN HOUSE PRODUCT TESTING

VIP are equipped with the very latest testing facilities for both low and high pressure testing, including to EN545:2010. These facilities enable greater speed to market as it allows us to test prototype seal designs throughout the design phase.
